Cellulose Insulation
– Made in Sweden
Cellulose insulation saves energy while providing a fresh and comfortable indoor climate.
iCell cellulose insulation is manufactured in Sweden all the way from raw material to finished product. The raw material is mainly recycled paper from newspapers and corrugated board/cardboard, based on pure cellulose fibers from Swedish coniferous trees. Recycling newspapers to make effective bio-insulation is an excellent way to save the environment, raw materials and energy.
Increasing energy prices and stricter environmental requirements make it necessary to save the world’s energy resources and protect the environment. Homes and premises account for approximately 40% of Sweden’s energy use, but most of this energy is wasted due to poor and often inadequate insulation. In addition, there are great opportunities to save energy with better and more climate-smart insulation from iCell.
iCell is ISO-certified according to standards 9001 and 14001, which includes the production and delivery of natural and environmentally friendly cellulose insulation in the form of loose fill and boards.

Our development is your saving
Building a new factory from scratch has given us fantastic opportunities to design and optimize the manufacture of the market’s most natural insulation material from forest cellulose.
In less than three years, iCell has gone from idea to finished cellulose insulation. During the development work, the manufacturing processes have been studied thoroughly to make it as efficient, environmentally friendly and energy efficient as possible. We have avoided the burden of old inefficient solutions to focus solely on one thing – to produce the best possible cellulose insulation.
For you as a customer, our thoroughness provides a superb insulation product that saves energy and improves the indoor climate in buildings for many years to come. Whether you are a contractor, professional, do-it-yourselfer or property owner, you can benefit from and enjoy the world’s most modern production facility for cellulose insulation.
Cellulose is a natural and effective insulation material that can be handled without protective clothing and is easy to recycle. We are proud of iCell – and always do our best to ensure that our customers are satisfied with the product.
