Why cellulose insulation?
iCell cellulose insulation is manufactured in Sweden and the raw material is mainly recycled paper from newspapers and corrugated board/cardboard, based on pure cellulose fibers from Swedish coniferous trees. Recycling newspapers and cardboard to make effective bio-insulation is an excellent way to save the environment, raw materials and energy.

Homes and premises account for approximately 40% of Sweden’s energy use, but most of this energy is wasted due to poor and often inadequate insulation. In addition, there are great opportunities to save energy with better and more climate-smart insulation from iCell.
iCell Climate Board
iCell Climate Board is a diffusion-open and climate-smart building board developed to be an active part of the building’s climate shell. The board is used as wind protection, external insulation that breaks cold bridges, and supplementary insulation in both new construction and renovation – in walls, roofs, and other climate-separating structures.
iCell Loose Fill
iCell Loose Fill is a bio-based insulation made from recycled raw material that is installed by blowing it in. The material forms tightly around all details, without joints and without waste. It provides insulation with high energy performance and very good sound and moisture regulation.
iCell Board
Since 2011, we have been developing a climate-smart insulation board for the construction industry, and now iCell Board is ready for the market. The insulation board is used as additional insulation or in various new constructions. iCell Board is basically based on the same environmentally friendly cellulose insulation as iCell Loose Fill.

The raw material we use is mainly already-read newspapers, which in turn are made of pure cellulose fibers from Swedish coniferous trees. Recycling newspapers to make effective bio-insulation is an excellent way to save the environment, raw materials and energy.
